Divine Timing

While driving in the car the other day, I was saved. No, not in the religious sense. It was in the sense that I was saved from listening to the vast wasteland of uninspired songs that were playing on the radio at that time. Oh, I wished that I had charged up my iPod's battery to enjoy something satisfying to my rock n'roll soul. So, no Buckcherry, KISS, Bad Company, or Joan Jett for me. As I roamed from end of the dial to the other, I found nothing nourishing or even vaguely interesting to listen to at the moment. On the verge of desperation, I decided to give it the old college try and scanned the airwaves once again. Suddenly, my ears perked up at the sound of Geddy Lee's distinctive vocals. Yes, victory is mine! The radio gods were finally smiling on me! The name of the Rush song? "Spirit of Radio."

Until next time, keep it on "11"...

  1. Glad to read an update. Rush is hit or miss for me, but "Spirit of Radio" is definately one that qualifies as a hit. I've got some stuff I keep meaning to bring to the office for you and Carol.
