First, But Not Last...

Greetings and salutations to all my rock & roll kin,

Welcome to my inaugural posting. If you are one of my friends or family members reading this, many thanks for your support. If you are a total and complete interweb stranger, I'm thrilled that you are here and are still reading...rock on!

Please keep the following in mind:

1. I have no idea about this blog stuff (gadgets, settings, and so forth), so I'm going to take it easy (yep, like The Eagles) and make it a slow ride (warning: Foghat reference alert!). Rome wasn't built in a day, you know...Patience, y'all... * I swear I wasn't intentionally making a Guns N' Roses reference; it just popped out and there it was.
2. The opinions emanating from this journal are my mere opinions and not meant to be dogma or anything. It's cool if you don't agree with me, so just please be respectful with my postings and others' comments. Everyone is different, and that's what make the world go 'round, folks. (I know, step off the soap box, woman)

I'm not sure how this whole thing is going to turn out exactly, but I envision top ten lists, album and concert reviews, news/events/gossip from the world of rock, my personal experiences, and basically anything that comes forth from my gray matter that I wish to discuss. Eventually, I'd like to host my own music show podcasts, which will satisfy the inner wannabe radio disc jockey in me.
